Federal Community Service Work-Study and AmeriCorps Awards

Davidson College is committed to offering resources to assist students with paying for their education at Davidson and beyond.

Two such initiatives organized through the Community Service Office are the Federal Work-Study program and the Bonner AmeriCorps Education Awards.

Federal Community Service Work-Study Davidson offers students who have applied for need-based aid and who are eligible for federal work-study the chance to do community service as a way of fulfilling their work-study commitment. The program allows students to form valuable partnerships with various local off-campus agencies.
Bonner AmeriCorps Education Awards The Bonner AmeriCorps network includes more than 75 campuses nationwide and addresses domestic issues of education, human needs, the environment and disaster relief. Each student can enroll in our AmeriCorps Education Award program for up to two terms.
