David Harrison travels the globe with colleague Greg Anderson, documenting dying languages before they fall out of existence. Their documentary, The Linguists, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and aired on PBS in April 2009, follows their race against time, highlighting the causes and consequences of language extinction around the world. Harrison will deliver an introduction to the film before the screening, and will be available to answer questions afterward.
