Sarbeth joined the Admission and Financial Aid staff at Davidson in August of 2008, but has worked in college admission for over 10 years at a variety of institutions. She received her B.A. in Political Science at Winston-Salem State University and subsequently completed her Juris Doctor and her M.A. (in African/African-American Studies at The Ohio State University. Although she thought her ultimate career goal was to become a Family Court Judge; she discovered her true passion was helping students selecting the best college fit for them.
Sarbeth spends her free time learning from her three year old daughter. The two also love to travel. Her daughter has been to over 15 states and is a professional when going through airport security.
