The Medical Humanities Program, the Vann Center for Ethics and the Public Lecture Committee will cosponsor a panel on "Health Care Reform: Politics, Economics, and Ethics. " This event will consider different perspectives on health care reform with three distinct speakers followed by a panel Q&A session. The goals of this presentation is to engage students, faculty and community members in a dialogue about the opportunities and challenges of health care policy and reform in the United States. The speakers are Rosamond Rhodes, Ph.D., Professor of Medical Education, Mount Sinai School of Medicine; Michael S. Lawlor, Ph.D., Professor of Economics, Department of Public Health Sciences, Wake Forest University; and Pat Sellers, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Political Science, Davidson College. Desserts, coffee, tea, and water will be served.
