How do I access my tuition invoice? Tuition invoices are emailed to the student's Davidson email address and any additional email addresses requested by the student.  Invoices can be accessed at: http://www.ecsi.net/gateway/davidson-emp.html

Does Davidson College accept credit card as a form of payment for tuition & other related fees? Yes, Davidson accepts debit and credit card payments, as well as electronic check payments through ECSI (www.ecsi.net/gateway/davidson.html).  There is no fee for e-checks; debit/credit card payments will be assessed a 2.75% processing fee.

I do not need the school's health insurance. How do I waive the insurance and what is the waiver deadline? If the student is covered by another plan and you do not wish to have supplemental coverage, please go to: www.ahpcare.com/davidson and complete the online waiver. This waiver must be completed and submitted no later than the due date specified on the Additional Fees page, as the College must pay insurance premiums in August.

Am I required to have a minimum meal plan? All first-year students are required to have the 19-meal plan for the fall semester. Continuing students who pre-selected their meal plans have been billed for this charge. If no meal plan charge appears on your statement and you desire to have a meal plan, please contact Cat Card Services at (704) 894-2952 and add the applicable amount to the total due.

What is the difference between Authorized Financial Aid and Memo Credits? Authorized Financial Aid is aid being disbursed by the school. Memo credits are items that are expected to be received from another source (ex: Pell Grant, Loans and ECSI payments) and disbursed by the school. Both items reflect a reduction of the Total Due.

I am receiving a grant or scholarship from an outside source and do not see this listed on my bill. To what address should my outside source send payment and may I subtract this from my Total Due? Yes, you may subtract anticipated payments from outside sources from your Total Due unless you are receiving need-based financial aid. If you are receiving need-based financial aid, you must check with the Financial Aid Office, before subtracting the anticipated outside sources, to determine if your financial aid package will be adjusted. Who do I contact if there is a discrepancy between my Financial Aid award letter and my invoice? Please contact the Financial Aid Office at 704-894-2232.

My insurance company requires verification that my son/daughter is a full-time student. Which office do I contact? Please contact the Registrar's Office at 704-894-2227.

Can Freshmen have a car on campus? How do I register my vehicle? Do I have to register my vehicle if I am living off campus? Yes, any student may have a car on campus, but it must be registered with the Davidson College Police Department within 48 hours of arrival. Please register your vehicle online at: http://www3.davidson.edu/cms/x6189.xml  and add the applicable fee to the Total Due. Your parking decal will be in your campus mailbox when you arrive on campus.

Does Davidson offer a monthly payment plan? Yes. Davidson's authorized payment plan provider is Educational Computer Systems, Inc. There is a $40.00 application fee to enroll in the plan and all payments are interest-free if payments are made on time. To obtain more information or sign up for a plan, go to:  www.ecsi.net, click on the "Students" tab,  select "Apply for a Monthly Tuition Payment Plan"  and then choose Davidson College from the list of participating schools.  

If my student has a balance on his/her account, can this be transferred to his/her catcard?  Yes, this can be done.  Please contact the CatCard Services Assistant for help with this.

Can I prepay tuition in full?  Is there a discount?  You may certainly pay all four years in advance, but there is not discount for prepayment.  The funds will remain in your student's account and charges each semester will be posted to reduce the balance.

How do I pay deposits for study abroad trips? You can pay your deposit online at www.exsi.net/gateway/davidson.html, via intercampus mail to Box 7162 or in person at Jackson Court #2.

How do I address letters to my student?
For items sent through the USPS use the following format:
            Student Name
            Box XXXX
            Davidson, NC 28035-XXXX (student's box number)
For items sent through delivery services such as FedEx, UPS or DHL use the following format:
           Student Name (Box #)

How do I (student) update my mail forwarding address?  Permanent residence changes are handled by the Registrar's Office; campus addresses are handled by the Residence Life Office.

Where does the deposit for enrollment get noted on the student's bill? Deposits are not shown on the bill until the end of the student's senior year, when the deposit is released to the student's account.
