Coming Friday, Aug. 31, Davidson College Union Board and UB Concerts Committee present...THE DOWNTOWN FICTION!!! Originally from Fairfax, VA, this three-piece rock outfit has been making waves with their debut single "I Just Wanna Run" being featured on MTV and MTV U, as well as their music being used extensively on MTV's Jersey Shore and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Their sound combines infectious pop, early punk, and witty lyrics and has been compared to Green Day, Blink-182 and All-American Rejects. The Downtown Fiction has been on several U.S. tours supporting acts such as The Summer Set and international tours with We the Kings and are ready to bring their energetic live show to Davidson!
