Wildcat Welcome Week is a programming initiative from the College Union and RLO established to welcome students back during the first week of classes each fall with a great variety of activities and information sessions from major student organizations and departments. Wildcat Welcome Week 2013 takes place Monday, August 26 to Monday, September 2.
The goal of Wildcat Welcome Week is to provide new students with additional programming and informational opportunities beyond their formal new student orientation experience as they make Davidson their home and begin classes and to provide a unified effort to welcome returning students back into the Davidson community after their summer away as well as highlight the great programming provided by student organizations and departments on campus. The week is a mix of Davidson traditions, such as the Freshman Cake Race and Live Thursday, with new activities sure to engage all students.
