November 01 Simone Müller at John F. Kennedy Institute in Berlin
After finishing both her Staatsexamen and her M.A. in Würzburg, Simone Müller, German exchange student and celebrated AT in 2003-04, accepted a position at the prestigious John-F.-Kennedy-Institut für Nordamerikastudien in Berlin.
October 21 WDAV interviews Dr. Henke on Faust
This past weekend, WDAV 89.9 Classical Public Radio broadcast live Opera Carolina's opening night performance of Faust and interviewed Dr. Henke during the intermission.

August 24 Greta Stults '05 earns M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution
Greta Stults '05 (JYA Würzburg 03-04) finished her M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University in May '08, at the same time finishing up two years as an intern at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

The new German Quarterly 81.2 (Spring 2008) includes two Davidson contributions: an article by Justice Kraus (Harvard, Davidson ‘01) and a contribution by five seniors majors and minors.

After receiving his Ph.D. from UNC Chapel Hill and after teaching first at Grinell College, then at Duke University, Derrick Miller accepted a tenure-track appointment at UNC Wilmington.
