HHMI Outreach fosters initiatives between Davidson College and the local community to enhance literacy and appreciation for the sciences.

The office centralizes the outreach efforts of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics with the vision to:

• implement programs with K-12 educators and students
• strengthen understanding of science's role in society
• engage the public with scientists
