The L.E.A.D. Program (Latina Empowerment, Achievement, and Development Program) was developed in partnership with the Ada Jenkins Latino Development Services, with the purpose of empowering Latina women in the North Mecklenburg area to become the competent candidates to enter the workforce despite gender and racial bias, as well as any language barrier that they may face.
