Environmental Action Coalition The EAC is a student- run organization that seeks to engage, advise, act, and educate its members and the campus community about regional and global environmental issues. In action, the EAC conducts events revolving around conservation, food, water, energy, waste, policy, and environmental justice throughout the school year. The EAC holds a vision for the future which centers around the development of a sustainably-run Davidson College as well as the education and preparation of student leaders for environmentally-conscious lives after college. In recognition of the multifaceted nature of most environmental issues, the EAC frequently seeks to cosponsor events with other campus organizations, as well as engaging with administrative and governmental authorities on issues of environmental policy.
