Allen Sutton came to Davidson College to serve as Assistant Director of Intramural and Club Sports, in August 2008 after spending two years serving as the Club Sports Graduate Assistant at East Carolina University.

In the fall of 2009, Sutton became Director of Club Sports for the newly recognized Campus Recreation program at Davidson. During his time at Davidson, he has worked to insure stability in the program as well as clarify students roles in being club officers. Allen works daily to cultivate an atmosphere where student leaders can develop and thrive.

In his spare time, Sutton enjoys playing golf, officiating high school basketball and supporting his alma mater, the N.C. State Wolfpack. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his wife, Joan, and his dog, Roxy. Allen and Joan will welcome their first child in May of 2013.
