Artistic Director Martin Gaxiola founded Calo Flamenco in 2003 out of a deep desire to express his creative talents with an ensemble setting. His vision was to develop a professional flamenco company in the U.S. that would rival any flamenco group in the world. With over 15 talented dancers and musicians, Calo Flamenco is one of the largest professional flamenco ensembles in the United States.
