All Davidson College students must have medical insurance. This may be private insurance or the health insurance package offered through the college by Business Services.

• The Student Health Center (SHC) will file claims for students covered by the policy offered by the college.
• The health center does not file claims with private insurance companies.
• Charges generated will be placed on the student’s tuition bill.
• Students can be provided with a universal claim form, upon request, if they wish to seek reimbursement for charges from their personal insurance company.
