John Kello has been a member of the Psychology Department since 1974. He obtained his B.S. in psychology from Old Dominion University, and the M.A. and Ph.D. from Duke University. Dr. Kello teaches, conducts research, and does applied work in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His courses include General Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, and a seminar on The Psychology of Teamwork.

Currently, Dr. Kello's professional interest focuses on the High Performance Organization model, and the application of the strategies of team-based "work redesign" and behavior-based safety in a variety of work settings.
