Engage for Change 2011-2012: Civic Engagement

Engage for Change 2010-11: Economic Opportunity
The theme for the 2010-11 academic year was "Economic Opportunity". Increasing poverty worldwide and the current US job market have created even greater economic disparities for previously marginalized groups. To respond to these, we addressed the barriers that exist for individuals who struggle to meet their basic needs by working with our community partners to address issues such as job training, living wages, literacy and available employment. Globally, we examined the impact that each individual has - and can have - on economies worldwide.
