The Davidson College Pre-Law Society is a student organization with two principal functions. First, it seeks to educate Davidson students and others about legal issues, legal education, and the legal profession. Toward this end, it invites legal professionals and educators to speak on campus and arranges field trips. Second, the organization serves as a resource to students who are considering legal careers. Toward this end, it hosts campus visits from law school admissions representatives and serves as clearinghouse of law school admissions information. In addition, the organization’s advisors from the faculty and staff counsel students through the law school admissions process, from deciding whether to apply or not through revising admissions essays.
