Richardson Professorship: Laurence S. Cain

Established in 1962 with a challenge grant from the H. Smith Richardson Foundation. Former Richardson Professors have included greats such as, most recently, Alan Singerman; Richie King; Bruce Jackson, and George Abernethy. Today, we honor one who is a fine and rigorous teacher, an excellent professional who has been a leader in A.P. Physics nationwide, and a most dedicated and tireless worker for Davidson College. Join me in congratulating, Laurence S. Cain, the Richardson Professor of Physics.
