April 19, 2008
It's official, Ted Dawson '06 will enter the Ph.D. program in German at UC Berkeley this fall. A former Bremer Award winner whose thesis on the history and function of the Fremdwörterbuch had earned him Honors in German, Ted spent the past two years as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Austria. Quite possibly the highlight of his stay there, he reports, was the opportunity to get whomped by the Vienna Philharmonic on the soccer pitch.
Ted chose Berkeley over Harvard, UC Irvine, Wisconsin, and UNC Chapel Hill. Viel Erfolg, Ted! News Archive Back to German
