19 October 2008 - Asheville Pumpkin Pick and Picnic
How many Davidsonians does it take to find the way out of a corn maze?
Several dozen Wildcats turned up for an afternoon of pumpkin picking, pony rides, picnicing and more at Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Fairview on October 19. The weather was ideal and the scenery absolutely gorgeous.  The crowd included many young Wildcats-to-be!

(P.S. We don't think anyone was permanently lost in the corn maze.)

21 May 2008 - Asheville Presidential Reception
The Asheville area welcomed Davidson's newest college president Thomas W. Ross '72 and his wife Susan at the home of Dee and Ross Manire '74.  The Ross' were overwhelmed with warm greetings and well wishes as they near conclusion of President Ross' first year as Davidson's 17th president.
