What, How and Where to Recycle at Davidson

Green-topped bins and green outdoor bins

• Plastic: #1 and #2 only; look on the bottom for the symbol
• Glass: clear and colored
• Aluminum: rinse out food first

Blue-topped bins

• Office paper: staples included
• Notebooks: leave the spiral binding on
• Green books: these have replaced the old "blue books" and can be recycled
• Envelopes: even with the plastic window
• Box board: such as cereal boxes, break them down first
• Cardboard: break it down and put it next to the bin
