Frank was born in Philadelphia, 1952, and left there in 1977 to play principal horn in the Hong Kong Philharmonic, after which Frank came to the Charlotte Symphony in 1980 as principal horn and still holds that position today. Frank has been married for 34 years to Maria and has three children, Cariissa, 28, Daniel, 22 and Teresa, 16. Outside of making music, Frank loves to golf and fish, sing, cook, eat and watch football on TV.
