Warren Hierl has taught Advanced Placement U.S. History at the Career Center in Winston-Salem, NC for almost 28 years. He has conducted more than 95 one-day Advanced Placement workshops and more than 85 week-long Advanced Placement Summer In stitutes, numerous Pre-AP workshops throughout the United States. He was a member of the committee that wrote the College Board's Advanced Placement Social Studies Vertical Teams Guide and co-authored the Advanced Placement U.S. History Teachers Guide for the College Board. He has been a reader, a table leader, and an exam leader, and, for the last six years, the question leader on the DBQ at the AP U.S. History reading.
