Brenda and her husband, Terry, moved to North Carolina when he was transferred by Duke Energy from Valley Forge, PA. Brenda began her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland majoring in Health and Physical Education. After a rather long sabbatical to raise her two daughters, Brenda received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Gardner-Webb University in Human Services. Prior to coming to Davidson in June of 2007, Brenda served as Executive Director for a non-profit human services agency based in Huntersville.

Favorite pastimes include biking, racquetball, reading, and spending time at the beach with her family. Joining the Physical Education Department at Davidson feels like returning to her "first love". Athletics have always been an important part of her life, either as a fan or participant, and she looks forward to becoming an ardent Wildcat supporter.
