• The stain glass window near the entrance to the laundry honors William Davidson Edwards; Class of 1953. A $10 Laundry gift certificate to the first 3 students who correctly identify for what Bill Edwards is noted AND correctly translate/interpret the Spanish inscription that appears on that stain glass window.

• Contrary to local College legend, the laundry does NOT boil clothes. The laundry uses state-of-the-art, low water consuming, front-loading commercial washers and ecologically friendly enzyme detergents to properly clean our students' clothing. We use no softeners or perfume additives which reduces the possibility of allergic reactions.
