When: November 14, 2009  

The November 14th  Service Saturday projects will be sponsored by EPIC (Ending Poverty in Charlotte), a student organization of UCA. They will lead four trips to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Urban Ministry Center, The Relatives, and Charlotte Emergency Housing. Registration begins on November 2nd and space is available on a first come, first served basis. 

Service Saturday is a local community service experience organized on one Saturday a month.  A group of 12 - 15 students, faculty and staff  work together on a service project while learning about a local non-profit organization.  Following the service project, the group discusses the experience over a meal.   Each trip is led by a student leader and focuses on a different social issue including the year-long Engage for Change  theme.
