Davidson and UNC-Charlotte Cadets recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to run the 2007 Army Ten-Miler race, the largest ten-mile race in the nation. 26,000 runners started at the Pentagon, ran around D.C. and finished back at the Pentagon.
The day before the race, we were given a special tour of the Pentagon by the Honorable William J. Haynes, Davidson College '80.
The night before the race, we attended a dinner in memory of Major David Taylor, Davidson College '91, who was killed in Iraq last year. We were honored to be invited to be a part of this special event.
