CoverageHelp is only a phone call away during travel emergencies for employees covered under a group policy through the Hartford. Toll-free emergency assistance is available to employees, spouses of employees and dependents 24 hours/day, 7 days/week when traveling 100 miles or more from home for 90 days or less. In addition to emergency services, this coverage provides access to a wide range of pre-trip informational services. The Hartford's Travel Assistance Program is provided by Worldwide Assistance Services, Inc. ("WA"), a leader in the travel assistance industry. Eligibility- Full-time employees, the first of the month following 30 continuous days of employment.
- All employees who are covered under the College Paid Group Life Plan from The Hartford are automatically enrolled.
- The services also cover eligible dependents (spouse and children under age 19, or 25 if a full-time student).
