Each year, Davidson College Friends of the Arts creates special events specifically geared towards our membership.

Previous years have included:

• New South for the New Southerner receptions and lectures cosponsored with the Levine Museum of the New South
• Annual New York City tour featuring tickets to Broadway, Signature Theatre, Metropolitan Opera, The Whitney Museum, and MOMA
• Guided arts-related trips abroad such as Edinburgh, Budapest, and Provence
• Special pre-performance dinner events featuring topics such as directing and set design
• Selective post-show receptions offering the chance to meet the performers
• Gallery Talks at the Van Every and Smith Galleries
• Collaborations with the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, McColl Center for Visual Art, Mint Museums of Art, and the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra
• Friends of the Arts reception with keynote speakers, special musical guests, and featured excerpts from the Theatre Department's main stage productions and the Music Department's Concert Series
