Flickerball

Flickerball and flag football are similar to regulation rugby and to American football except that the ball carrier is downed differently. In Flickerball, the defensive player must tag the offensive player in possession of the ball with at least one hand rather that being tackled. Upon gaining possession of the ball, a team has four downs in which to advance the ball to the next 18 yard marker. After the hike, every player is eligible to receive a pass and a pass can be thrown in any direction. The game consists of two twenty-minute halves. Teams must have a minimum of 12 players, with 7 members on the field of play. All games will be played on the Intramural field.
