Past Leadership Davidson participants have cited weekly meetings with their mentors as one of the most integral components of the program. One student remarked, "Having [my mentor] as a role model has been a truly wonderful experience. It has enabled me to see how much I can achieve and has provided insight into where to take my professional and personal lives."

The value students receive from their mentors is no accident.  Students are asked to describe what they would like to learn from a mentor and how they would like to connect with a mentor.  They are matched with business and community leaders based on their unique interests.  Students then have the opportunity to learn how leadership is exercised in a setting that is of interest to them but may be unfamiliar territory.
