Mario was a double major in music and theatre. He was originally from the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas but moved in Bloomington, IL. During his time at Davidson he studied trumpet, voice and percussion. Mario's main interest was musical composition, which he planned to pursue in graduate school. In addition to private study Mario had been involved at different times in the Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Concert Choir. Mario was also active on the stage in performances such as Middleton's Women Beware Women and Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore. Mario hopes to cotinue his interests in theatre and music in the years to come.
