The Music Department has a long and proud tradition of fine choral ensembles, starting with the outstanding Men’s Choruses conducted by Professor Donald Plott from the early 1950’s to the early 1980’s. Today the Concert Choir and Chorale carry on that proud tradition of excellence.

The Concert Choir is a large ensemble open to Davidson College students, faculty, staff and the town. It focuses on presenting large-scale masterpieces for chorus and orchestra. Open by audition or invitation.
