Michael Rowland joined the music department as Artist Associate in Accompanying from a similar position with Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. He studied at Wake Forest University, Boston University and the Peabody Conservatory. In addition to his accompanying duties, Rowland has played organ recitals in Winston-Salem and Greensboro in North Carolina and in Baltimore and Boston. He recently accompanied choral concerts in Vienna and Salzburg for the Winston-Salem Children’s Chorus. Mr. Rowland is also Associate Music Director at Davidson College Presbyterian Church. Should he have spare time, Rowland enjoys golf.
