Adam Straus
New York artist Adam Straus has built a career on the landfills and dung heaps of American culture. A native of Florida, Mr. Straus's landscapes are filtered through a lens of black humor to evoke a genuine fear that humankind is killing the environment and inevitably itself with pollution, overpopulation and rampant commercial development.
