This exhibition features new works on paper by Herb Jackson and paintings by Russ Warren. In addition, Davidson College’s new Visiting Assistant Professor of Art Tonya Clay will debut a new series of works in the Edward M. Smith Galleries.

The Van Every/Smith Galleries at Davidson College in collaboration with the Halsey Institute of the College of Charleston are partnering with four other local art institutions, for an innovative and experimental exhibition entitled Force of Nature. This collaborative and expansive exhibition includes ten artists from Japan who will be hosted by these institutions. This exhibition explores the relationship between humans and nature through the minds and hands of contemporary artists.
