Our leadership programs don't shape you into a leader mold. They nurture you to become the leader you are called to be. |

Overview
Chidsey Leadership Fellows progress through a comprehensive and dynamic four year program. Fellows meet regularly throughout the semester to connect with each other over dinners and to explore relevant leadership topics in seminars. Fellows also participate in retreats and contribute to the leadership development of the broader community through Leadership Development Teams.
- Year 1 – Self Awareness and Self Management: Fellows will engage in activities that help them to understand the strengths they bring to leadership, recognize how others perceive them, explore leadership theory, and learn about resources in the community.
- Year 2 – Group Leadership: Develop the knowledge, skills and awareness to enable groups to be more effective. It is our hope that Chidsey Fellows will have a positive impact on groups whether they are the formal leader or an active participant.
- Year 3 – Creating Change: Leaders help organizations and communities to be more effective, address challenges, and/or innovate. Fellows will learn and practice strategies for change and become more aware of the impact of power, privilege and systems on the change process.
- Year 4 – Synthesis: Fellows will focus on their legacy and their future by exploring strategies to make their organizations more sustainable and considering how they will use what they have learned in their lives after Davidson.
The contributions and successes of Chidsey Leadership Fellows will be recognized each spring at the Chidsey Leadership Banquet.
