Patterson Court Council (PCC)
The mission of PCC is the following: (1) Promote the interests of the fraternities and eating-houses represented at Davidson College, (2) Promote the mission of Davidson College, (3) Ensure the cooperation between the court and college authorities to the end that the physical condition of the court may be improved, (4) Ensure cooperation between the Court and the college administration, (5) Promote the exchange of ideas by establishing a continuous communication system incorporating all areas of Davidson College, (6) Promote leadership and service opportunities, (7) Ensure that Patterson Court activities operate with respect to the College's Code of Responsibility and Honor Code.  For more information contact Charles Brodsky.

Phi Delta Theta
The North Carolina Gamma chapter of Phi Delta Theta was founded at Davidson College in 1928. Phi Delta Theta moved onto Patterson Court in 1958 as one of the original houses.  It promotes the characteristics of brotherhood and how to become assets to the Davidson community.  For more information contact Andrew Aldrich.

Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)
The charter for Phi Gamma Delta was granted in 1923. They were in their original house from 1958-1971 and then moved back in 2003.  For more information contact Patrick McGinn.

Philanthropic Society

Pi Kappa Alpha
The Beta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity was founded at Davidson College in 1869, only the second chapter in the country. Pi Kappa Alpha moved onto Patterson Court in 1958 as one of the original houses.  For more information contact Mitch Miller.

Ping Pong Club
The Ping Pong Club will enhance the Davidson Community through a new community of Ping Pong Lovers sharing their common passion.  For more information contact Jeffrey Roth.

Pre-Dental Society
To educate students about the dental careers, offer mentoring opportunities, and to inform students about the DAT and dental schools.  This society intends to provide information to students who might be interested or who are definitely interested in pursuing dentistry, separately from the Pre-medical Society, and is meant to be a direct resource for those students.  This organization is meant to place an unprecendented focus on studies in pre-dentistry in the college and increase awareness of the rewards of practicing dental medicine.  Past events have included a Pre-Dental Workshop (with Career Services, Kaplan, and Dr. Putnam), speaker events, and a DAT practice test.  For more information contact Julia Paquette.

Pre-Law Society
The Pre-Law society has two principal functions.  First, it seeks to educate Davidson students and others about legal issues, legal education, and the legal profession.  Toward this end, it invites legal professionals and educators to speak on campus and arranges field trips to law firms and law schools.  Second, the organization serves as a resource to students who are considering legal careers.  Toward this end, it hosts campus visits from law school admissions representatives, organizes affordable LSAT preparation courses on campus, and serves as a clearinghouse of law school admissions information.  In addition, the organization's advisors from the faculty and staff counsel students through the law school admissions process, from deciding whether or not to apply through revising admissions essays.  For more information contact Peter Costa.

Pre-Medical Young Professionals
The purpose of this group is to prepare underrepresented pre-medical students for the medical school admissions process.  For more information contact Janell Dyitt.

Pre-Vet Society
The purpose of the Pre-Vet Society is to provide support for students interested in careers related to the animal sciences.  Also, it raises awareness in Davidson of animal related issues.  For more information contact Christa Goeke.

Project Life
Project Life is a student-directed organization aimed at increasing the number of potential donors on the National Bone Marrow Registry.  It runs fundraisers throughout the year to support the annual Bone Marrow Typing Drive which is open to the community as well as the campus.  For more information contact Allie Coker.  

P.S. Student Run Restaurant
A student-run restaurant dedicated to presenting, entertaining and educational, or sometimes just purely fun meals. Students learn to cook, other organizations benefit in kind, and Davidson students have a transcendent evening.  For more information contact Elizabeth Lacks.
