Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Film Club
The Film Club wishes to create an atmosphere of film appreciation through the sponsoring of film screenings and field trips to theaters. We also provide and display the student body's own work in film. For more information contact Katie Yost.
First Responders/Rape Awareness Committee
The purpose of the First Responders is to provide students, faculty, and staff with free, confidential 24-hour services regarding the issues of sexual assault and rape. Our services range from providing hotline numbers and website information to counseling survivors, friends, and family to providing transportation to local area hospitals for rape kits. The Rape Awareness Committee also runs a confidential, 24 hour, student-run hotline, First Responders. First Responders volunteers are trained to respond to calls regarding rape and sexual assault. Food Club
The Food Club supports local and sustainable agriculture at Davidson College and in the Davidson community. The club integrates Dining Services, Patterson Court, independent students, and the Town of Davidson. For more information please contact Ashley Finger.
Foosball Club
The Foosball Club meets weekly and hosts small matches as well as a Semester Tournament. The club also participates in intercollegiate tournaments with some universities in Charlotte. Meetings take place at the Foosball table at the Union Cafe level. Beginner to advanced players are welcome to join. Email the co-presidents Blanca Vidal Orga and Alana Nichols to be added to the club's email list.
For Loving Yourself (FLY)
F.L.Y. aims to empower the student body by promoting positive self image, mental and physical wellness, and healthy, accepting attitudes toward sex and gender. We host both unstructured and structured discussions, guest lectures, and film events centered on provocative and timely topics like the roles of sex, gender, and the body on campus and in society. F.L.Y. also holds a variety of service events throughout the year that encourage higher self esteem and lower stress levels among students. For more information, Krista Catafago or Hannah Foltz.
Freeword Poetry Group
The purpose of Freeword is to provide a venue for spoken word poetry at Davidson College. We are similar tot he a capella groups except we do spoken word instead of sing. Each semester we will have a show in which all of the proceeds will go to charity. For more information contact James Tolleson.
French Club
The French Club seeks to foster and support interest in the french language and francophone cultures among all members of the Davidson College community. By sponsoring activites on and around campus we hope to bring greater awareness to francophone cultures without a fluency in French. For more information contact Ashley Parker or Sara Simon.
