Cats Connect This project involves implementing a mentor-mentee program to foster inter-class relationships and greater sense of community. Charlotte Mayoral Candidate Initiative The purpose of this organization is to allow students to be involved in the Charlotte mayoral race by calling Charlotte area voters and asking them to vote. Fore more information contact Mordecai Scott.
Cheerleading Davidson Cheerleading season begins prior to New Student Orientation in August with pre-season training camp for returning team members. The team cheers for all home Football, Men's and Women's Basketball games, as well as a few selected away games. For more information contact Laura Candler.
Chinese Martial Arts Club The purpose of this club is to teach students about self-defense and combat through Chinese systems of Martial Arts. Also, it increases physical stength, flexibility, and adds to the understanding of Martial Arts. For more information contact Robert Mudano.

Club Sports Council A club sport is a student organization formed by individuals with a common interest in a sport activity and exists to promote and develop interest in that particular sport. Clubs may be instructional, recreational, competitive, or a combination. Students are responsible for organizing, funding, regulating, and scheduling activities for these club teams under the direction of the Assistant Director of Physical Education and Recreation. College Democrats Promotes awareness of current political issues and support of the Democratic party and its ideals through a monthly newsletter, voter registration drives, volunteer work, speakers, debates, and other events. For more information contact Alice Phillips.

Comparative Advantage Comparative Advantage is a mentoring program for economics majors. For more information contact Petri Lindberg.
Concert Choir and Chamber Singers The 62 voice Concert Choir performs five major concerts on campus annually: Fall Concert, Christmas Vespers, Spring and Baccalaureate Concerts, plus an end-of-tour winter concert. Recent tours have taken them to the mid-Atlantic states, the Midwest, and the Southeast. This year they will travel to New York City and present concerts, one of which will be a performance of Morten Lauridsen’s Lux aeterna in Carnegie Hall. The Chamber Singers is a 18-24 voice select ensemble, whose members are chosen from the Concert Choir. Its repertoire emphasizes music written before 1750 and 20th century choral literature. This year they will go to New York City and appear at St. James Episcopal Church with the Concert Choir, as well as present their own concert on campus the spring. Recent repertoire has included music by Ferko, Bach, Hassler, Gawthrop, Palestrina, and Mozart. For more information contact Ray Sprague.
Connor House Connor eating house was founded at Davidson College in 1991. Connor was named for Carol Connor Willingham, Class of 1977, and the first trustee to be elected by the Alumni Association. Crew The purpose of Davidson Club Crew is to introduce the sport of rowing to all interested members of the Davidson community; to offer instruction to rowers; to build team unity and cooperation; and to compete in intercollegiate regattas. For more information contact Bekah Landfried.
