Academic Needs - Introduction

The ITS academic needs registration process enables faculty to submit technology needs they will have for classes the following semester. This includes requests for special software to be installed in ITS computing facilities, instructional technology, network services, etc. The schedule for registering academic needs with ITS is generally:

  • April for the following fall semester
  • October-November for the following spring semester

If you have any special needs, please inform us by participating in this process. If you are wondering why you can't make software requests throughout the semester, we have an explanation that you might want to view.

If you need software installed in a lab facility, please request it by October 16, 2009. If you need in-class training, class folders or other class-related assistance, please make your requests by January 8, 2010. If you need assistance with this page, please email the Help Desk.
