Retreat Description
What is the Annual Leadership Retreat?
This three-day event, held the week before summer break, allows students to explore leadership development topics that are relevant to a broad cross-section of the student body. It is open to all students and is planned by a committee of students, staff, and faculty. Retreat participants enjoy workshops, scenarios, games, self-assessment exercises, and group initiatives (where team building skills can be practiced). Davidson success stories are integrated into the content throughout the retreat. Participants also have time for reflection, networking, and recreation.
Who can attend?
This retreat is open to all Davidson students who are actively involved in an organization and desire to learn the skills to strengthen the organization. Participants DO NOT need to hold a formal leadership role, but they must plan to use their leadership abilities to strengthen the organization for future generations.

Past topics have included:
- Shaping the Dream Team and the Leader Within
