Davidson is home to a stunning array of facilities that showcase the talents of faculty and students as well as local, regional and national artists.

  • Duke Family Performance Hall
    A 600-seat performance hall with full-height stage house and technology.  This venue has hosted Davidson College Theatre and Music productions as well as performances by The Royal Shakespeare Company.  
  • Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center
    A 43,000 square-foot building with state-of-the-art facilities for painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpting.
  • Van Every/Smith Galleries
    2,000 square feet of space to showcase faculty and student art.
  • Tyler-Tallman Hall
    A 150-seat, acoustically and visually stunning recital hall, that serves as the centerpiece of the Sloan Music Center.

Renovated in 2008, The Cunningham Theatre Center has been updated to a state-of-the-art performance venue including:

  • New lighting and sound systems
  • Expanded scene shop and assembly area with a loading dock
  • A rehearsal/acting/directing classroom
  • A seminar video room
  • A 550-square-foot design classroom
  • A fully-wired, 35-seat classroom space
  • Two dressing rooms with a shared make-up space
  • A 125-square-foot area for sound design
