The clinic is located at Davidson Family Medicine, behind the Soda Shop in Davidson.

A health assessment is no longer required before you can visit the clinic.  Copies of lab work and health assessments are available to you and upon request the clinic will fax or mail results to your physician.

Wildcat Wellness and the Nurse Practitioner Program are here to help you by providing the following services:

  • Health assessments to screen for and monitor health conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and mental health concerns.
  • Recommendations regarding what type of screening tests are appropriate for your stage of life.
  • Assistance with smoking cessation and weight management.
  • Basic lab tests, specifically lipid (cholesterol) panels, kidney/liver/thyroid function studies, complete blood counts, diabetes screening, prostate screening tests, and urinalysis
  • Immunizations including tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, influenza/pneumonia, and allergy maintenance injections.
  • Treatment of minor illnesses including respiratory and urinary tract infections.
  • Treatment of minor injuries that occur outside of the work place.

Please remember that the goal of the Wildcat Wellness Program is to keep you healthy. Therefore, the following services should be provided by your primary care provider:

  • The actual treatment of ongoing medical problems. For example, initiation of or changes in ongoing medications should be made by your primary care provider.
  • The Wellness Program does not replace the yearly physical exam that you should be obtaining from your regular health care provider.
  • For lab tests and immunizations not listed, please see your regular provider or specialist who has ordered them.

If you do not have a primary care provider, we will be glad to assist in finding an appropriate provider for you.
