During fall and spring break, groups of students take part in short-term, alternative break service projects.   Trips are organized and led by trained student leaders and have included projects focused on housing, energy conservation, disaster relief, homelessness, youth issues, and environmental issues in locations like New Orleans; Johns Island, SC; Florida and Washington, DC.  Students return to campus and partake in a reflection session to share their experiences with the campus community.
