The Program
Every other year, the Department of Classics offers a traveling program, taught by a member of the Department and devoted to the study of classical antiquity. The group spends the entire spring semester visiting selected archaeological sites and museums in Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Germany.  Group travel is the rule, but spring vacation provides an opportunity for independent travel in the Mediterranean region. The program terminates in Europe, so participants who wish may travel further on their own.  Prof.  Krentz will lead the next program in the spring of 2009.
