Instructions: - Mark the records you want to import.
- Click "Export/e-mail results" in the gold band at the top of the screen or scroll down to the bottom of the screen to get to the "Export/Email search result" area.
- For step 1, choose "Selected records" from the drop-down menu.
- For step 2, choose "BibTeX."
- For step 3, choose "Abstract (title/author/affiliation/abstract)."
- For step 4, choose "Disk."
- Click on the "Export Results" button.
- When the window opens, from the File menu, choose "Save as." Navigate to the area where you want to save the temporary folder (e.g. the Desktop), give the file a name, and be sure that you save it in text format (i.e. file type "text documents (*.txt)").
- Go into RefWorks, and from the "References" menu, choose "Import.""
- For the "Import Filter/Data Source," choose "BibTeX" and for "Database," select "<Multiple Databases>."
- Choose "Import Data from the Following Text File" and browse for your saved text file.
- Click on the "Import" button.
