Androgyny
Since 1998 Androgyny has been Davidson College's foremost (and only) co-ed a cappella group. Having released two CDs (Everything but the Piano in 2003 and The Acapocalypse in 2006), Androgyny is developing into one of the premier music groups on campus. Their mix of 80's jams, old time rock and roll, and the occasional country or pop hit energizes audiences and has solidified Androgyny's place as a fan favorite.  For more information contact Ellen Goodson.

Concert Choir and Chamber Singers
The 62 voice Concert Choir performs five major concerts on campus annually: Fall Concert, Christmas Vespers, Spring and Baccalaureate Concerts, plus an end-of-tour winter concert. Recent tours have taken them to the mid-Atlantic states, the Midwest, and the Southeast. This year they will travel to New York City and present concerts, one of which will be a performance of Morten Lauridsen’s Lux aeterna in Carnegie Hall.   The Chamber Singers is a 18-24 voice select ensemble, whose members are chosen from the Concert Choir.  Its repertoire emphasizes music written before 1750 and 20th century choral literature. This year they will go to New York City and appear at St. James Episcopal Church with the Concert Choir, as well as present their own concert on campus the spring. Recent repertoire has included music by Ferko, Bach, Hassler, Gawthrop, Palestrina, and Mozart.  For more information contact Raymond Sprague.
