College-owned computers and printers are purchased with a manufacturer's warranty. If you experience problems with computer hardware, please email the Help Desk for assistance. Repair of College-owned Dells and Macs When equipment problems are encountered that may require repair services, please send email to the Help Desk. The Help Desk will evaluate the problem and forward it to the appropriate ITS consultant. ITS will determine if the equipment is under warranty. If it is under on-site warranty, ITS will arrange for the equipment to be serviced by the vendor at no charge. If it is out-of-warranty, ITS will assist with replacement or upgrade. Repair of College-owned Printers In-warranty and out-of-warranty service on Hewlett-Packard networked laser printers is handled through OfficeMax. To be covered under the agreement with OfficeMax, printers bought through ITS are automatically registered for you. We recommend that the Help Desk be contacted first for initial troubleshooting. If the Help Desk determines that an office visit is necessary they will forward the case to the appropriate ITS consultant.
