Microsoft Outlook is the supported email application for Windows; Microsoft Entourage is the supported email program for Macintosh. Outlook is a personal information manager that lets you organize messages, calendars, contacts and tasks. Every currently-enrolled and on-leave student has a Davidson email account. Use of your email account is governed by the Davidson College Acceptable Use Policy . - New Students
Email/network accounts are created automatically before you arrive on campus. You receive your username and password in the mail from the Registrar's office during the summer before you arrive on campus. - Transfer and Exchange students
Email accounts are created on request from the Registrar’s office or the Dean of Students’ office. You receive your username and password after attending an ITS Orientation session. - Accessing your email
On campus: If you brought a computer to campus, see Residential Networking ( ResNet ) for instructions on connecting your computer to the Davidson network. Once connected, you may access your email, the Internet, and file/web servers from your personal computer. Public computers are available for student use in the ITS computer labs .
Off campus: You can access your Davidson email over the Internet using any current web browser and Outlook Web Access .
